Open Source vs Closed Source
for closed source...all the code credits goes to the company...in other word - belongs to the company
before any of the companies existing code can be seen a comprehensive contract, not a license, must be signed.
these contract use a lot of words, big ones too, but all the legalese boils down to this.
if an employee create the code not for the company...then the employee might sued.
while open source...the codes belongs to the author...they hav the right to apply any license they want to any particular copy of the code.
tis means tat 1 copy of code can be part of a larger project and distributed under tat larger projcts license.
another copy of the totally same piece of the code can be included in a totally diff language under a diff license
ok tats it! i dun understand! it's 4.30 am already =3= i'm so tired...nid to sleep (>_<)
